Financial advisors Christopher Beavers, Matthew Beavers, Emma Beavers, Hannah Peterson and Ryan Finglass have joined the Raymond James & Associate (RJA) employee advisor channel, the company announced today in a news release.
The family practice, which will now operate as Beavers Wealth Management of Raymond James, was formerly with Merrill Lynch, where team members managed approximately $427 million in assets for a select clientele of families and businesses.
As employees of Raymond James, the advisors will open the firm’s new office location in West Fort Worth, Tex., located within the North Texas-Arkansas complex that is led by Jeremy Silvas.
“That’s really powerful and was a deciding factor for what ultimately led us to make the move,” said Managing Partner Christopher Beavers in released comment. “We’re excited for clients to see the immediate benefits of our transition.”
Christopher Beavers launched his career as a financial advisor in 2010 by founding the practice shortly after completing his M.B.A. degree at Texas A&M’s Mays Business School. He is also a graduate of Harvard University, where he earned a B.A. degree.
In 2015, Christopher’s father Matthew joined his son. A graduate of Texas A&M University - College Station, Matthew Beavers brings more than three decades of experience as a working CPA to his position as a senior financial planning consultant with the practice. They are joined by Christopher’s wife, Emma, who is also a financial advisor. As a former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, she also oversees all operations, branding and events for the team.
“During their due diligence process and virtual home office visit, the team at Beavers Wealth Management remained laser focused on what resources and support they would need to elevate their service and experience for clients,” said Chris Davitt, western gulf regional director for RJA. “We’re proud they chose Raymond James as their trusted partner in helping them deliver on that, and we’re looking forward to supporting them as their practice and team grow.”
