Robertson Stephens Wealth Management LLC has named Raj Bhattacharyya as chief executive officer, the company announced today in a news release.

Bhattacharyya, who joined the Robertson Stephens board of directors in January, succeeds Stuart Katz as CEO. Katz will continue to serve as the firm’s chief investment officer. 

In his new role as CEO, Bhattacharyya will manage the firm's operational and growth strategy, both organic and inorganic, while continuing to advance its service offerings ranging from investments to financial planning.  

A financial services industry veteran with more than 27 years of experience, Bhattacharyya spent 17 years at Deutsche Bank and also worked at Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch.

San Francisco-based Robertson Stephens is a registered investment advisor with approximately $1.5 billion in client assets under management.
