Rockefeller Capital Management today announced the addition of three advisors teams, including the Jones Connolly Pollock Group, an 11-member team in Winter Park, Fla., that was formerly with Merrill Lynch.

The group, which managed $2.5 billion, is the first private advisor team in the Greater Orlando market for the New York City-based Rockefeller. The team will report to Kirsten Sario, Southeast Division Director.

The team is led by managing directors and private advisors Garrett Jones, who according to BrokerCheck, spent 21 years at Merrill Lynch; Sean Connolly, who spent 19 years at Merrill Lynch; and Gregory Pollack, who spent 38 years there. All three brokers have in recent years appeared either on the Forbes “Best-In-State Wealth Advisor” list or Barron’s “America’s Top 1,200 Advisor State by State.”

The team last year was named to Forbes’ “America’s Top Wealth Management Teams High Net Worth,” according to a news release. Its other members include senior vice president and private advisor Phillip Dobbs; vice presidents and senior client associates Erin Walters, Ellen Fuller, and Linda Paul; associate vice president and investment associates Jennifer Anderson and James Kofron; and associate vice presidents and client relationship managers Tim Magid and James Pollock.

“The Jones Connolly Pollock Group are an excellent complement to the elite community of advisors we’ve invited to join our company,” Christopher Dupuy, co-president of Rockefeller Global Family Office, said in a statement. “We’re excited to welcome them aboard and to bring the Rockefeller experience to clients and families in this vital and growing region.”

Separately, Rockefeller said it also hired two additional teams this week. They include Cowles Wealth Partners of Indianapolis, who joined its Midwest Division. The team, which managed $450 million in assets, includes managing director and private advisor Trent Cowles, vice president and senior client associate Jennifer Ruble, and investment analyst Charlie Moffitt.

Also, Leach Wealth Partners of Los Angeles, Calif. Joined the Southwest Division. The team managed $400 million in assets and includes managing director and private advisor, Paul Leach, and associate vice president and senior client associate, Jerry Daly.

With these latest additions, Rockefeller so far this year has added four teams. In January, it welcomed former UBS team Ladage, Smith, Garcia Wealth Partners, a former UBS team of five that managed $900 million in Austin, Texas.

Established in 2018, Rockefeller Capital Management offers services in 40 locations across the U.S. As of December 2022, the firm was responsible for about $98 billion in client assets across its three businesses, Rockefeller Global Family Office, Rockefeller Asset Management and Rockefeller Strategic Advisory.
