Rockefeller Capital Management has expanded its private wealth footprint with the addition of three teams that managed a combined total of $1.8 billion in assets under management, the company announced.

The teams, which are based in Walnut Creek, Calif., Houston and Scottsdale, Ariz., mark the 23rd private wealth teams to join New York City-based Rockefeller this year as it continues to expand across its various regional divisions, according to a press release.

The FMC Group, formerly of Merrill Lynch, managed $800 in AUM. It includes Robert J. Fink, managing director and private wealth advisor; Donny Chu, senior vice president and private wealth advisor; John F. McMahon, Jr., senior vice president and business development and relationship manager; Sue M. Badgley, associate vice president and senior client relationship manager; and Hillary Collins, vice president and team business manager and private wealth analyst.

The FMC Group is Rockefeller’s first private wealth team in Walnut Creek, Calif., and leads the firm’s expansion into the East Bay of San Francisco. This is part of the company's Pacific Northwest Division, which is led by Brian Riley.

Amsler, Laborde & Bowman, a five-member team from UBS, managed $600 million in AUM. It includes Francis Amsler, managing director and private wealth advisor; Marc Laborde, managing director and private wealth advisor; Christopher Bowman, vice president and private wealth advisor; Angie Bacon, vice president; and Susan Bowman, vice president.

The team is the third to join Rockefeller’s Houston-based private wealth office, expanding the firm's Central Division that's led by Michael Armondo.

Also joining from UBS is the ZWMG team with $300 million in AUM. It includes Jason Zilveti, managing director and private wealth advisor; Ryan Papez, vice president, private wealth advisor; and Frances Miranda, associate vice president and senior client advisor.

The group will be part of the recently opened Scottsdale, Ariz., office and will report to Nathan Crair, Southwest Divisional Director for Rockefeller.

“The strategic expansion of our private wealth footprint allows us to offer the Rockefeller experience to a growing number of clients across the U.S.," Chris Randazzo, president of private wealth management for Rockefeller Capital Management, said in a prepared statement.

Rockefeller Capital, an offshoot of Rockefeller & Co., was created in 2018 and is backed by hedge fund Viking Global Investors. It is led by former Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley executive Greg Fleming.
