New York-based marketing consultants Seven Group launched a new digital marketing platform for advisors.
The platform will pair marketing technology with Seven Group’s consultative approach, according to a company announcement released on Tuesday. Advisor users will receive a customized “marketing road map” and tools to aid with creative development, a library of investor content, progress tracking capabilities and a digital training lab.
"As COVID-19 continues to change the advisor/investor relationship dynamic, investors are increasingly researching advisors online and connecting with them in different ways,” said Alex Cavalieri, Seven Group co-founder, in comments released on Tuesday. “As a result, we believe that advisors need to become marketers in every aspect. Communications is an essential element of their business. We also believe it's more important than ever that advisors lead their clients by showing the value they can provide. The best way to do this is to build their own marketing and communications strategy.”
The new Seven Group program will be broken up into three phases: One, unpacking advisors’ challenges and opportunities; two, delivering an integrated marketing roadmap; and three, providing access to digital resources, content and automation.
The goal of the new platform, according to the announcement and Cavalieri’s comments, is to help advisors engage clients and prospects by adjusting their tactics to the current environment, not just the realities of social distancing and shut downs amid the coronavirus pandemic, but also a move towards more digital processes and communications and rapidly changing demographics.
Seven Group is offering its services on a subscription basis, with an option for advisors to engage via a custom proposal.
