The US SIF Foundation has updated its online educational series to help financial advisors talk about sustainable, responsible and impact (SRI) investing with clients.

The course also helps advisors incorporate SRI into investment portfolios and understand the latest SRI investing trends and research.

The course, which is presented by the foundation’s Center for Sustainable Investment Education, is the Fundamentals of Sustainable and Impact Investment and can be accessed at www.ussif.org/courses.

Lisa Woll, CEO of the US SIF Foundation, said, “Experience tells us that many financial professionals want to know more about sustainable and impact investing, but do not have the tools at their disposal to obtain this expertise. The Fundamentals course allows financial professionals to understand and communicate about sustainable and impact investing options and to be familiar with current trends and research in order to best serve their clients.”

The course has been updated to be accessible on all browsers and devices. It features new infographics updated with the latest research on the growth of sustainable and impact investing. Users will also have access to conclusions of the latest meta-studies of academic and industry literature showing the links between environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors and financial performance, said US SIF.
