State Street Global Advisors today said it added seven exchange-traded funds to its roster of SPDR Portfolio ETFs, expanding the lineup to 22 ultra-low-cost products comprising both equity and fixed-income funds.
SPDR Portfolio ETFs debuted in October 2017 when State Street refashioned versions of 15 existing SPDR funds with new names and lower expense ratios. In addition, some of the ETFs got new ticker symbols and underlying indexes. State Street says this group of ETFs has gathered $34.4 billion in assets since the changes were made two years ago.
The seven rebranded ETFs joining this club include two international equity and five fixed-income products with total assets of $4.4 billion. All now have new names and ticker symbols, three have lower expense ratios and one has a new underlying index.
