Summit Financial Wealth Advisors, one of the largest independent wealth management firms in Louisiana, will be relocating to a larger headquarters in Lafayette to accommodate growth plans, the company recently announced in a news release.
The Acadiana Advocate reports that Summit, currently located at 326 Heymann Blvd., last month bought space at 1021 E. St. Mary Blvd., a 10,700-square-foot building located in the city’s Oil Center. Summit founder and managing partner David Daniel said the move was part of the company’s growth plan.
Formed as an independent team within Legg Mason in 2003, Summit has continued to grow ever since its founding. The firm currently has 10 employees in Lafayette and 16 statewide in Shreveport, Monroe and Ruston.
Summit, a Focus Financial Partners firm since 2014, said in the news release it would move into the new space next year.
