Personal finance website WalletHub has ranked the top 20 cities in which to start a small business.

WalletHub analysts compared 1,268 small cities with populations between 25,000 and 100,000, taking into account the cities’ business environment, access to resources and business costs.

The cities were ranked across 15 metrics, including their average growth in number of small businesses, the prevalence of investors within the city, office space affordability and corporate tax rates.

Small cities in the south and Midwest dominate the list.
