A new ranking identifies the colleges and universities that are ideal for those looking to party as well as study.

The educational website Niche ranked the nation's top party schools according to ratings and comments from people who attend the institutions and their family members, as well as the entertainment options available to students on and off campus.

"Our user reviews let you hear directly from families and students to give you an honest and holistic view," Niche says on its website.

The following are Niche's top party colleges, along with random comments from reviews submitted to the website.


10. University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign
Urbana, Ill.

"Only having to be 19 to get into bars helps the bar scene a lot, especially since there's so many to choose from."
