Ameriprise Financial has recruited two Wisconsin financial advisors who previously managed more than $250 million in client assets at LPL Financial, according to a company press release.
The veteran advisors, Kelly France and Dan Lotts, recently joined River Prairie Wealth Partners, an Ameriprise practice based in Altoona, Wis. The team is led by private wealth advisor Adam Mohr. Melissa Hass-Goettl, an executive assistant, also came over with France and Lotts, who have more than 30 years of experience in the industry, Ameriprise said in the release.
Both France and Lotts had been with LPL since 2019, according to their BrokerCheck pages. Before that, they were both with U.S. Bancorp, and Lotts had a previous stint at LPL before that.
River Prairie Wealth has a team of 29 advisors and 34 support staffers who manage more than $3 billion in client assets across eight offices in Minnesota and Wisconsin, the press release said.
“We evaluated a variety of firms, and the team at River Prairie Wealth Partners rose to the top,” France said in a statement. “Our shared philosophy for helping clients comprehensively, coupled with the vast support and resources of Ameriprise, gave me confidence that we’ll continue to provide a top-of-the-line client experience.”
Lotts cited Ameriprise’s “impressive technology and sophisticated financial planning tools.”
“Kelly and Dan have a strong reputation in the community and are very well regarded amongst their peers,” said Mohr. “After meeting with them, it became immediately clear that they’re in this business for same reason we are—to help empower clients to reach their financial goals. We’re thrilled to welcome them to our team.”
