RBC Wealth Management has recruited two UBS advisor teams with a combined total of $900 million in assets under management to join its Lincoln, Neb., office, the company has announced.

Both teams specialize in financial planning and asset management for high-net-worth individuals and families.

The Ernst Stark Group, which manages $500 million in AUM, includes Gregory Ernst, senior vice president and financial advisor, who has 34 years of industry experience; and Todd Stark, first vice president and financial advisor, who has 17 years of experience. They are joined by senior investment associates Marnie O’Brien, Trudy Soper and Amy McGuire.

Ernst, in a statement, said RBC’s local leadership and strong presence in Lincoln, combined with the firm’s advisor-friendly culture, made this the right move for the team and their clients.

The Burt Adams Group, which manages $400 million in AUM, includes 21-year industry veteran Stephen Burt and Brian Adams, who has been in the industry for eight years. Both men serve as senior vice president and financial advisors. They are joined by senior client associate Celina Engler.

Burt said RBC has all the capabilities and resources they need to serve their clients. “But the focus on creating the best-possible client experience is what ultimately led our decision,” he said.

Tim McEwen, director of RBC Wealth Management’s Lincoln branch, said the team of advisors are all-around excellent advisors who are known for their client loyalty and integrity. “As we continue expanding in the Lincoln market, we are thrilled to add talented, high-quality teams like the Burt/Adams Group and Ernst/Stark Group,” he added.

In the U.S., RBC Wealth Management operates as a division of RBC Capital Markets, LLC. It has $416 billion in total client assets with more than 2,000 financial advisors operating in 179 locations in 42 states.
