Belmont, Mass.-based Whealthcare Planning announced on Thursday the release of a new version of its application.

Whealthcare Planning 3.0 adds eight short wellness and longevity-focused assessments to the application designed to take less than five minutes for clients to complete. The assessments can be used with any client or prospect.

Whealthcare offers longevity and health-related modules and tools to help advisors find planning opportunities and to support their efforts to work with families on issues including end of life, grieving, funeral expenses, memory loss, dementia, driving and mobility, pet care and financial assistance.

Materials are delivered via conversation-starter scripts, sample documents and the Whealthcare Academy, which includes videos, checklists, how-to guides and other educational materials authored by experts in financial planning, geriatrics and psychology.

The application is offered on a tiered basis, for an  added cost advisors can also access marketing functionality embedded in the platform including marketing videos, email texts, handouts and HTML code.

In its announcement, Whealthcare said that the new version is easier to use, simplified, and offers additional features.
