Financial technology firm Vestmark has launched a new segment in its Vestmark One platform.

Vestmark One is a software-as-a-service, cloud-based technology platform designed to help financial institutions and financial advisors manage and trade investor portfolios. It’s new feature advances options trading for retail managed accounts by replacing trading options accounts one by one with the ability to trade hundreds or even thousands of accounts simultaneously, known as block trading.

Vestmark One will also manage risk—it will perform pre-trade compliance checks before trades and inhibit underlying securities to prevent overexposed positions.

Vestmark is a provider of portfolio management and trading services founded in 2001. The fintech firm is headquartered in Wakefield, Mass., and has $850 billion in assets and 2.5 million accounts.
