Skience
Marc Butler, who has held executive roles at Bank of New York Mellon Corp., will join Skience as the Herndon-based wealth management firm’s president and chief operating officer, the company announced. Butler was most recently COO and managing director of BNY Mellon/Albridge and held other leadership roles at BNY Mellon/Pershing. At Skience, which was formerly called The Athene Group, he will oversee the company’s business and technology teams.

Panoramix, an advisor technology platform, announced the results of a recent industry research study on billing practices of independent RIAs during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This seminal research showed that RIAs using average billing methodologies billed more during the market break, but less in the subsequent recovery, smoothing out revenue swings due to market volatility.

DriveWealth
Mexico-based neobank Flink has announced a partnership with DriveWealth, LLC, a US-based digital trading technology supplier, to add access to the US equities market to its platform. Leveraging DriveWealth’s real-time fractional share trading technology and API-enabled brokerage infrastructure, Flink customers will be able to invest in US stocks with as little as 30 pesos, directly funded from the Flink platform.

Riskalyze
Riskalyze announced its enterprise agreement with Lincoln Investment (Lincoln), a full-service broker-dealer and registered investment adviser serving nearly 360,000 investors who represent more than $41 billion in assets. The agreement will provide more than 1,000 Lincoln advisors with access to Riskalyze’s risk assessment technology across different business channels.

Vendors are selected for inclusion in the program based on advisor demand, the ease of using their products or services, and their ability to meet LPL’s security and compliance requirements.
