Mooney Lyons Financial Advisors, a hybrid RIA practice based in South Barrington, Ill., has joined Triad Hybrid Solutions' corporate RIA, according to a news release.
Led by co-founders and managing partners Keith Mooney and Joe Lyons, along with chief operating officer Greg Scheider, Mooney Lyons manages $320 million in client assets for individuals, families and small businesses. The firm provides a range of financial services that include retirement, education, investment, estates and succession planning.
Scheider said in a news release that his firm’s goal was to grow its client base across the Chicago area and throughout the Midwest, while also growing client assets. “We will continue to seek to build our size and scale with Triad’s help, while still focusing on cultivating the trusted client relationships that enabled us to get to this point,” he said in the news release.
Nathan Stibbs, Triad’s executive vice president and chief strategy officer, praised the Mooney Lyons team, which he said had established a strong practice with deep relationships. Stibbs also said that the practice was exactly the kind that would thrive on Triad’s hybrid solutions platform.
“Our aim is to help them elevate their marketing and recruitment strategy, while also empowering their growth with our technology and practice management support services,” he said in a news release.
Stibbs also said that working with highly motivated practices such as Mooney Lyons gave his team the energy and drive to also do their best for advisors that affiliated with Triad. “As more practices take the hybrid RIA path, we believe we will continue to be a key destination of choice for those advisors,” he said. “Our door is always open to like-minded advisors, and we stand ready to help.”
