A trio of advisors with international expertise who oversaw $350 million in client assets at Fieldpoint Private has joined New York City-based Snowden Lane Partners, according to a news release.

Andrew Randak, senior partner and managing director, with managing directors Nicole Boutmy de Katzmann and Kristian Sedeño, form the Mile Creek Global Group, based in Snowden Lane’s New York, Coral Gables, Fla., and New Haven, Conn., offices, the release said, adding that the advisors specialize in helping clients throughout Europe, and North and South America.

Randak began his career in private banking at Chase Manhattan Bank, spending two of his six years in Chase’s Santiago, Chile, offices, where he managed the firm’s private client lending platform, the release said. According to BrokerCheck, he registered with the industry in 2000 with J.P. Morgan Securities, spending less than two years there before moving to Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. He joined Fieldpoint Private in 2015.

"As we began searching for the next step in our careers, we were excited by the prospect of joining a firm that will allow us to continue serving our clients’ best interests, both domestically and abroad. Snowden Lane has established itself as the premier advisor to successful cross-border families. I have no doubt that we will hit the ground running,” Randak said in a statement.

Sedeño, a certified public accountant, worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) from 2009 to 2011. The release said he then joined Brown Brothers Harriman and worked with ultra-wealthy families in South America. He registered in the industry in 2015 with Morgan Stanley and, after a month, moved to Fieldpoint Private, according to BrokeCheck.

Boutmy de Katzmann’s career in global banking started at Republic National Bank of New York, where she served as an international private banker in Montevideo, Milan, London and New York. She joined HSBC in 2001 and left in 2003 to help form a new firm, NuVerse Advisors, where she remained for more than a decade. She joined Oppenheimer & Co. in 2015 and Fieldpoint Private in 2018.

Snowden Lane Partners Chairman Lyle LaMothe said the firm added nearly 20 advisors with international expertise in 2021 and is looking forward to continuing recruiting momentum through the rest of the year. “Andrew, Nicole and Kristian will each be valuable additions to our team, and we are grateful that they saw the value of the international platform we have built since founding Snowden Lane,” he said.

Founded in 2011, Snowden Lane has 122 total employees across 12 offices in Pasadena and San Diego, Calif.; New Haven, Conn.; Coral Gables, Fla. Chicago; Pittsburgh; Baltimore, Salisbury and Bethesda, Md.; San Antonio, Texas; and Buffalo, N.Y.
