JDK Wealth Advisors has become the second team headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, to launch as an independent by partnering with the Indianapolis-based Sanctuary Wealth network, the companies said today in a news release.

JDK, led by managing partners Brad Johnson, Randy Daniels and Jonathan Klug, were formerly with Merrill Lynch, where they oversaw approximately $400 million in client assets.

"Sanctuary's platform is very broad and allows for a lot of different optionality from an investment standpoint, so we're not restricted in terms of what we can offer clients," Klug said in the release. "And we already have strong relationships with many of the executive team at Sanctuary through our mutual years with Merrill."

The four-person JDK team, which also includes Director of Operations Martha Ortega, designs customized financial plans consistent with wealth accumulation and preservation, the news release said.

JDK is the seventh team to join Sanctuary to-date in 2021.
