Twenty Four Wealth Management, with offices in New York and Fairfield, Conn., has affiliated with Stratos Wealth Partners in Beachwood, Ohio to join LPL Financial’s broker-dealer and hybrid registered investment advisor (RIA) platforms, according to a news release.

The Twenty Four team includes the firm’s founders, Anthony Truino, Michael J. Carbino and John Dougherty, financial advisor Christopher Zapata, and a seven-member support staff who together manage more than $460 million in brokerage and advisory assets.

The practice was previously affiliated with Barnum Wealth Management and MassMutual Financial Advisors. After leaving Barnum, the firm was re-named Twenty Four Wealth Management.

Truino said that the firm’s expertise in efficiently managing client spending and saving set their practice apart from others.

“We spend our time focused on this area of our clients’ lives so they don’t have to,” he said. “Our clients are asked to provide the vision for their financial goals, and through our planning process, we help empower them to make decisions.”

He said that the firm’s move to Stratos gave the Twenty Four team what they needed to effectively manage a growing clientele.

“It makes sense then that we should have access to industry-leading resources, innovative technology and a broad landscape of product platforms, which we can access through Stratos and LPL, while also having the flexibility and control to make decisions best suited for our clients and our business,” Truino said.

The deal will not only benefit Twenty Four and its clients, but also its new partners, Stratos and LPL, according to Rich Steinmeier, LPL Financial managing director and divisional president, Business Development, who congratulated Stratos on its growing network of advisors.

“This is a team that really resonates with our culture and commitment of being one team on one mission to support our advisors so they can support their clients,” he said.

Founded in 2009, Stratos Wealth Partners has 87 locations in 24 states nationwide.

LPL Financial Holdings is today the largest independent broker-dealer in the United States, with headquarters in Fort Mill, S.C., San Diego and Boston.
