We utilize ETF's in our DBP's as well. AND we insert STOP Orders to reduce their downside and will apply LIMIT Orders. Costs are far lower than with MF's.and FAR MORE transparent.

We use Index ETF's in our 401-k's for the lower expense ratio's in smaller plans that don't have access to DFA funds. They work great and the trading costs are miniscule. Just takes a little research to find the right set-up.
