LTC Web Site Serves Advisors
A new online resource center provides financial planners and investment advisors with information and generic marketing tools to begin client discussions regarding long-term-care planning.
The new Web site http://www.yourLTC success.com, created by the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance (AALTCI), the industry trade organization, contains a series of five-minute audios featuring top financial planners and industry experts. Audios can be listened to online or downloaded to an iPod or MP3.
The audios are Positioning LTC Insurance As Part of a Financial Plan, Tax Advantaged LTCi For Business Owners, Helping Affluent Clients Choose: Self-Insure or Insure? and Overcoming The Most Common Objections. The site will offer an online directory of long-term-care insurance specialists for fee-based planners wishing to partner with a professional in the area.
A series of generic letters and e-cards encouraging long-term-care planning is also available online as part of the Association's consumer awareness drive for Long-Term-Care Awareness Week (Nov. 4-10).
"Long-Term Care Awareness Week is the ideal opportunity to make clients aware of the need to plan for the potential risk," says Jesse Slome, AALTCI executive director. "We are encouraging all advisors to be part of the nation's largest grassroots awareness drive by making available free marketing tools for their use."
