For Price and Goldin, retaining Signator reps and providing a smooth transition is their chief priority. Both Royal Alliance and Signator have clearing relationships with both Pershing and Fidelity's National Financial unit. Reps at Signator will be able to move their accounts in a seamless "tape-to-tape" transfer.
Over the next few weeks, Goldin, Price and other executives at Advisor Group and Royal Alliance plan to head out on a roadshow to meet Signator reps around the country.
