Phoenix.-based Advisor Group has launched a new National Advisory Board consisting of 12 professionals from across its community of independent wealth management firms.

The National Advisory Board (NAB) will offer Advisor Group’s leadership insight on topics including technology, service and product strategy, serving as a forum for conveying the opinions of professionals and practitioners on firm-wide topics.

The NAB will be chaired by Debra Brennan Tagg, president of Dallas-based BFS Advisory Group, while Advisor Group’s newly appointed executive vice president of advisor engagement, Erinn Ford, will serve as its executive sponsor.

“The National Advisory Board will provide real-time, on-the-ground intelligence to Advisor Group to inform future enhancements to the tools we use to serve our clients, as well as the development of new services, platforms, and corporate strategy,” said Tagg in released comments.

Board members were invited based on industry experience, tenure with Advisor Group and business model of their respective practices, the company said.

The new board will not displace any of the company’s existing advisory boards, the company said.
