Advisor Group, an independent broker-dealer headquartered in Phoenix, announced on Tuesday the launch of its CyberGuard Program, a toolkit of cybersecurity services and support platforms for its national network of more than 7,000 advisors.
The CyberGuard Program includes cybersecurity insurance; discounted access to a cloud-based data backup solution; access to a security auditing and monitoring platform; and email and file storage capabilities.
Advisor Group also announced the hire of Jason Lish as chief security, privacy and data officer for Advisor Solutions.
The firm said that it plans to add additional capabilities to the CyberGuard Program over time.
