Advisor Group, an independent broker-dealer based in Phoenix, capped off its 13th annual W Forum for women by announcing its recruitment of eight women advisors with a combined $330 million in client assets under management (AUM).
Black Financial Services Inc., led by Margo Scepaniak, is based in Avon, Minn. The firm has $126 million in client assets and is affiliated with Woodbury Financial Services.
Wayfinder Wealth Management, led by Teri White, is based in Santa Maria, Calif. The firm has $53 million in client assets and is affiliated with FSC Securities Corporation.
Haber Wealth Management, led by Tricia Wood, is based in Fort Worth, Texas. The firm has $70 million in client assets and is also affiliated with FSC Securities Corporation.
Elsa Agdinaoay-Segal, Kelle Tom, Glennel Jordan Warren and Donna Tso joined Royal Alliance along with their firm, Occidental Underwriters of Hawaii. The four women have combined client assets of more than $70 million.
Taina Gude, an independent advisor with more than $10 million in client assets, joined AmeriFlex, a large advisory practice affiliated with SagePoint in Las Vegas.
Advisor Group is one of the nation’s largest networks of independent wealth management firms, comprising FSC Securities Corporation, Royal Alliance Associates, SagePoint Financial and Woodbury Financial.
Lea Goodman, managing partner of the FSC Securities-affiliated practice The Legacy One Group, based in Houston, said she played a significant role in recruiting Wayfinder and Haber.
“This latest wave of new recruits further underscores Advisor Group’s leadership in supporting the success of women advisors across the country,” Goodman said.
Launched in 2007, The W Forum is a part of the Advisor Group’s Women Forward initiative, which provides female advisors with opportunities for mentoring, training and networking.
