Heritage Harbor Financial Associates, an independent financial advisory based in Port Jefferson Station, N.Y., has affiliated with Advisor Group subsidiary Securities America to join its platform, the companies announced.
Heritage Harbor was founded in 2010 by managing partners Scott Zambelli and Michael Butensky. According to BrokerCheck, the firm was formerly with Equitable Advisors LLC, where the team managed $150 million in client assets.
Heritage Harbor began as a provider of insurance products and has expanded into financial planning, asset management and wealth management services across three offices on Long Island. The team also includes financial professionals Fred Azzurro, Amanda Gonzalez, John Thomson, John Dinkelmeyer and Denise Chiarella, assisted by office manager Stacey Roser.
Securities America Inc., headquartered in La Vista, Neb., is a subsidiary of Phoenix-based Advisor Group, which also includes FSC Securities Corporation, KMS Financial Services, Royal Alliance Associates, SagePoint Financial, Securities Service Network, Triad Advisors and Woodbury Financial Services.
