CAIS, an alternative investment platform for independent financial advisors, will hold a series of one-day events across the country this year to educate advisors about alternative investments.
CAIS Live will be held in nine cities the first year and eventually in more cities, to reach 15,000 advisors, Matt Brown, CAIS CEO and founder said in a statement. “It is an ambitious goal, but we believe to truly transform how advisors allocate to alts, we must combine our best-in-class technology with in-person educational experiences,” he said in a prepared statement.
The free events will give advisors a chance to talk with asset managers who are available on the CAIS platform, the firm said. CE credits can be earned for attending.
CAIS Live grew out of a three-day conference held last year, which drew more than 1,000 attendees, CAIS said. The dates and locations of the events can be found here.
