Financial advisor Fred Fryer, operating as Fryer Wealth Planning in Bentonville, Ark., has joined Raymond James Financial Services (RJFS), the firm’s independent advisor channel based in St. Petersburg, Fla., the company announced.

Fryer and his team of client services associates Melissa Koenig and Rebekah Fritz were formerly affiliated with Edward Jones, where they managed about $195 million in client assets, Raymond James said in a news release.

A graduate of Central Missouri State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in English and organizational behavior, Freyer specializes in holistic planning for every stage of a client’s financial life, the release said. 

“The vast resources offered by Raymond James was a significant draw,” Freyer said in the news release. “Its cutting-edge technology, planning software, and investment research all contribute to our improved ability to develop fully customized financial plans for our clients. Additionally, the level of autonomy I now have within my practice presents an exciting opportunity to accelerate my staff’s professional development.”
