Pershing Launches NetExchange Investor Platform
The Pershing Advisor Solutions LLC unit of The Bank
of New York Company Inc. has launched NetExchange Investor, a
comprehensive online account management solution for independent
registered investment advisors‚ clients. NetExchange Investor allows
RIAs to provide their clients with real-time access to a wide range of
critical business information on their investment portfolios, as well
as financial market activity around the world.
NetExchange Investor, which replaces Pershing‚s
PortfolioPoint platform, will offer the following new features:
• Seamless access to account information, including
current and archived trade confirmations, periodic account statements
and yearly tax statements.
• Access to BillSuite, a bill payment and presentment service.
• Consolidated snapshots of account activity,
positions and balances, including anticipated dividend payments and
income distributions, and the ability to view related accounts.
• Broad array of market activity, including
snapshots of how benchmark market indices are performing and
information about market movement and most actively traded stock.
• Easy-to-use administrative features.

CurrencyShares ETFs Garner $1 Billion
In less than a year the collective asset value of
the seven Rydex CurrencyShares ETFs passed $1 billion. The ETFs aim to
reduce barriers to entering the currency market by providing packaged
ETF investments.
The CurrencyShares ETF track the price movements of
their associated underlying currencies, which are the Euro, Australian
and Canadian dollars, British Pound Sterling, Mexican Peso, Swedish
Krona and Swiss Franc.
Fundamentally Weighted Mutual Funds Introduced
Wilmington Trust is adding two new mutual funds,
Wilmington Fundamentally Weighted Large Company Fund and Wilmington
Fundamentally Weighted Small Company Fund, to its line-up of domestic
equity funds.
The mutual funds follow an investment approach often
referred to as fundamentally weighted index investing, which uses
fundamental measures of a company‚s size, such as net income, dividends
and free cash flow to select securities.
