The
Buckingham Family of Financial Services-an advisory firm built on the
principals of passive investing-has proven itself to be quite active
when it comes to growth.
The company
announced that it has been named one of the top 25 fastest-growing
businesses in St. Louis for the eighth year in a row.
The top-25 list is published annually by the St. Louis Business Journal.
This year, the company ranked 16th, with $29.5 million in annual revenue.
Buckingham's
family of companies is comprised of three main entities: Buckingham
Asset Management, BAM Advisor Services and Bemiston Insurance Services.
BAM Advisor
Services specializes in transitioning CPAs to the field of fee-based
investment management-a niche that has been nurtured by the firm's
strict adherence to a passive and diversified style of portfolio
management that makes heavy use of Dimensional Fund Advisors (DFA) mutual funds.
The family of
firms has a staff of 13 principals and more than 70 associates, and has
$1.2 billion in assets under management and $5 billion in assets under
administrative management.
"The ranking
reflects our commitment to helping our clients with their financial
goals," says Bert Schweizer III, principal and founder of the company.
