Capital Analysts recruited 100 advisors this year, compared with about 50 in 2001, Mayhew says. Of the company's top 50 producing reps, he adds, three were added this year and 17 are having the best years of their careers.
"We're trying to bring out competitive products that let the reps focus on asset gathering, client retention and serving their clients, versus trying to figure out if they did the right thing by selling Budweiser and buying Harley-Davidson," says Bob Bateman, Capital Analysts' vice president of marketing.
