Baird, a Milwaukee-based investment bank and financial services company, has hired three financial advisors to join its private wealth management business in Denver and Chicago, according to a news release.

The Dahl Pennise Group has joined the firm’s wealth management office in Chicago with $200 million in client assets under management (AUM). Eric Dahl and Tim Pennise will both take on the titles of vice president, financial advisor. Kate Johnson joins the team as a client specialist. The Dahl Pennise Group generated more than $1 million in annual earnings.

Dahl brings nearly 20 years of experience to Baird, most recently serving as a vice president and financial advisor at UBS. He graduated from the University of Maryland, where he earned a bachelor’s degree.

Pennise joins Baird with over 15 years of experience in the finance industry, most recently serving as a vice president and financial advisor at UBS. He graduated from Bucknell University with a degree in accounting.

Industry veteran David Burchfield, with more than 20 years of experience, joins Baird’s Denver wealth management office with $274 million in AUM. He was most recently a senior investment consultant at Charles Schwab, where he generated $1.5 million in earnings annually. His new title at Baird will be senior vice president, financial advisor.

Burchfield earned a bachelor’s degree at Ball State University and went on to earn a graduate degree in finance from the University of Colorado.

Celebrating its 100thanniversary in 2019, Baird’s Private Wealth Management business encompasses more than 1,300 financial advisors serving clients from over 160 locations in 33 states and has client assets of more than $200 billion.
