Barton Spector Wealth Strategies, a wealth management firm based in Scottsdale, Ariz., with $311 million in assets under management, is joining Stratos Wealth Partners, LPL Financial announced Tuesday.
Stratos, located in Beachwood, Ohio, is an independent advisory firm on LPL’s broker-dealer platform. Barton Spector will continue to operate under its own name.
Barton Spector Wealth Strategies includes two advisors, Sharon Barton and Jay Spector. The firm focuses on retirement income planning.
The move was prompted by recent regulatory changes, including the implementation of the Department of Labor retirement plan fiduciary rule, Barton said.
