Benson Financial Group, based in Hannibal, Mo., has joined Securities America, the latter firm announced.
Benson’s eight financial professionals and three staff members have $170 million in assets under management. Founder Pat Benson said his firm is joining Securities America because of the increased regulatory pressure on firms.
In making the change, Benson Financial will partner with Olathe, Kan.-based Compass Financial Resources, which joined Securities America in August.
