California-based Bernstein Private Wealth Management, a unit of AllianceBernstein L.P. and a top 17 U.S. wealth management firm with $90 billion in assets, announced the addition of two veteran executives who have rejoined the San Francisco office.

Daniel Eagan has rejoined Bernstein as senior vice president and managing director, the firm announced. Eagan will lead the private practice in San Francisco and will be responsible for overseeing client service, management and the continued growth of Bernstein’s business in the region.

During his 20-year career at AllianceBernstein, Eagan served as head of the private client practice in the Pacific Northwest and leader of the Wealth Management Group, as well as other senior leadership roles.

Eagan left AllianceBernstein in early 2017 to work a stint for Hirtle Callaghan as director in the Portfolio Management Group.

He is also a member of he CFA Society San Francisco.

Bernstein also announced the promotion of William E. Grayson to national director-family offices in the San Francisco office to work with family offices, ultra-high-net-worth clients and their professional advisors in wealth planning and investment services. He joined Bernstein a decade ago and brings 20 years of experience as a senior investment executive and 10 years as a litigator and corporate and government general counsel. Before joining Bernstein, Grayson was the president of an SEC-registered investment advisor and hedge fund firm, and then he served as vice president at J.P. Morgan & Co. and Montgomery Securities.
