For those wishing to complete a master's of business administration degree at home, U.S. News has compiled a list of colleges that have programs to offer.

The list of the nation's top online MBA programs reflects a growing trend, as the ability to work towards a degree on the intenet is increasingly valued as a way to save time and commuting dollars by working professionals.

To collect the data for this ranking, U.S. News contacted 255 schools that said they offered an online MBA program for the 2016-2017 school year. That's up from 228 colleges that offered such programs a year earlier.

In terms of graduate rates, the best performers were Temple University and Pennsylvania State University, where between 95 percent and 99 percent of online students completed their MBAs, and Arkansas State, Arizona State and University of North Carolina, which graduated between 94 percent and 99 percent. 

For the 2017 edition, U.S. News ranked online MBA programs using five main categories: student engagement, peer reputation, admissions selectivity faculty credentials, student services and technology.

The following scholls were ranked the top 10 best online master's degree programs in business administration by U.S. News.

 

10. Arkansas State University (Jonesboro)
