Parenting can mean formidable work and career challenges, which is why some companies strive to provide practical benefits for working parents. To highlight those companies, Fortune magazine and its research partner, Great Place to Work, have ranked “The 50 Best Workplaces for Parents.” 

These rankings were based on feedback provided by employed parents, but also took into account the anonymous responses of parents and non-parents and reviewed factors like job level, parent leave, schedule flexibility and other factors.

Great Place to Work surveyed more than 400,000 employees to find out which establishments take care of their working parents the best. 

Even though Fortune’s top 10 included companies such as Workday, Ultimate Software, Deloitte, Comcast NBC Universal, Salesforce, Cooley, SAP America, Kimley-Horn and Wegmans Food Markets, Financial Advisor's list will only feature the relevant financial services companies. 

The best financial companies to work for, according to parents, were:
