Black Creek Group has tapped Christopher Westcott as its senior vice president for multifamily acquisitions.

Westcott will be responsible for expanding the company’s business by identifying and acquiring multifamily properties located throughout the United States.

Westcott received a bachelor's degree in finance from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.  He most recently served as director of acquisitions for BMC Investments.

Raj Dhanda, CEO of the Black Creek Group, said that Westcott has closed on more than $1.5 billion of transactions in the multifamily industry during his 20-year career.

Black Creek Group, founded in 1993, is a real estate investment management firm and sponsor of non-traded direct investment programs, with nine offices located across North America.
