BNY Mellon Wealth Management has promoted Sinead Colton Grant to the position of global head of BNY Mellon’s Investor Solutions division. At the same time, the firm promoted Alicia Levine to succeed Grant as head of equities and capital markets advisory and as vice chair of the Wealth Management division’s investment strategy committee, the company announced in two news releases.

Grant will be leading the firm’s multi-asset solutions business, which had more than $29 billion in total assets under management and advisement as of March 31, 2021.

An industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience, Grant has been with BNY Mellon for the past decade. She most recently served as deputy chief investment officer and head of equities for BNY Mellon Wealth Management, where she led the large-cap U.S. equity, equity trading and capital markets advisory groups. She also serves as head of responsible investing for wealth management and digital assets. 

Before joining BNY Mellon Wealth Management, Grant served as head of global investment and product strategy for Mellon Investments. Earlier, she served as managing director of investment strategy for the multi-asset client solutions group at BlackRock. She has also held leadership positions at J.P. Morgan Asset Management and Invesco.

Grant succeeds Jamie Lewin, who is moving to the United Kingdom with his family. Grant is based in New York and reports to Catherine Keating, CEO of BNY Mellon Wealth Management.

Levine joined BNY Mellon in 2016 and most recently served as the chief strategist and managing director of BNY Mellon Investment Management. She is based in New York and now reports to Leo Grohowski, BNY Mellon Wealth Management’s chief investment officer.

She is one of the firm’s lead spokespersons for market analysis and investment outlooks, and has provided commentary for print, broadcast and digital media outlets.
