Catherine Keating gets snapped up again.

BNY Mellon has announced it appointed Catherine Keating, the former president and chief executive officer of Commonfund in Wilton, Conn., as the new CEO for BNY Mellon Wealth Management.

Commonfund, an institutional asset manager and non-profit, snapped up Keating in 2015 from J.P. Morgan.

BNY Mellon’s wealth management unit has $246 billion in client assets and offers investment management, custody, wealth and estate planning and private banking services.

BNY Mellon also appointed Keating to its executive committee, which is its senior-most governing body, and its New York-based investment management leadership team.

Starting sometime in July, Keating will guide BNY Mellon’s Wealth Management unit into new wealth markets, look for new investment opportunities in client segments and technology, and help recruit and develop the firm’s workforce, the company said in a release.
