Bank of New York (BNY Mellon) Wealth Management today promoted Michael Dawkins to the position of market president in Atlanta.
In his new role, Dawkins will oversee all aspects of its wealth management business in the Atlanta market, including advisory, investments, fiduciary, private banking and marketing, according to a company press release.
Dawkins brings to the position nearly 30 years of fiduciary and investment wealth management experience, most recently served as senior director and team leader at New York-based BNY Mellon Wealth Management, where he worked for the past 10 years. As market president in Atlanta, he will report directly to Kent Moegerle, southeast regional president.
