Quinn said that Cadwalader is representing Hudson in its formation and will continue to advise the new firm.
He also said the firm is “in growth mode, both organically and laterally.”
The firm announced on Jan. 9 that it had hired a group of seven lawyers -- three partners, Michael Liu, Jane M. S. Ng and Stephen Chan, along with four counsel -- from Latham & Watkins LLP in Hong Kong.
As for Woolery’s departure, Quinn said, “We’re excited about the opportunity because we are counsel to his new venture and continue to represent him.”
