Calvert Foundation has changed its name to Calvert Impact Capital to clearly define its non-profit status.
“The word ‘Foundation’ had us confused with an endowed, grant-making institution,” said Jenn Pryce, president and CEO of Calvert Impact Capital.
Pryce added that the change does not affect any of its borrowers. Calvert Impact Capital started 30 years ago and has moved almost $2 million in private capital for impact investments that reach throughout the U.S. and beyond.
