The next phase of major trends like telemedicine, online learning and streaming TV are still in the midst of unfolding. And stocks in these emerging areas could push growth equity ETFs even higher. But while these trends are probably here to stay, a temporary pause in the sizzling performance of growth stocks might spell an opportunity for maligned value stocks to catch investors’ fancy. Put another way, be careful about overestimating the death of value investing.
