Cetera Financial Group has appointed fintech veteran Lori Hardwick to its board of directors, the company announced today in a news release.
Hardwick brings extensive leadership experience in the financial industry to her new role with Cetera, the company said. Her background is in wealth technology.
In addition to her service on the strategic advisory board of Genstar Capital, Cetera’s majority shareholder, Hardwick also currently serves as chairman and a member of the board of directors at Riskalyze, and she is a co-founder and board member of Advisor Innovation Labs. She was a co-founder and group president of Envestnet as well.
Hardwick is a graduate of Ohio State University, where she received a B.A. degree in organizational communication.
Cetera is an independent broker-dealer headquartered in El Segundo, Calif.
