Cetera Financial Group has hired two new executives to its business development team. The El Segundo, Calif.-based Cetera announced the hiring of Jeffrey Bottorff and Kevin Frank.
Bottorff will serve as division manager for business development overseeing a team of recruiters. He will report to the head of business development, Michael Murray.
Bottorff brings 20 years of industry experience, having served with LPL Financial as a recruiting executive and senior vice president of business development from 2002 through 2016. He recently was vice president of business development for Kestra Financial in the southern region, and also held various executive roles with Lincoln Benefit Life Company and 1st Global. Bottorff began his career at Merrill Lynch and with JP Morgan Chase.
Frank will serve as the senior recruiter for Cetera’s mid-Atlantic region of Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Frank will report directly to Bottorff and will focus on recruiting financial advisors from the region to the Cetera platform.
Frank brings almost 18 years of experience as a retirement consultant with Allianz Life Financial Services and as a marketing director for Lincoln Financial Distributors. His executive experience includes roles with AXA Distributors, Mitchell Hutchins Asset Management and Fidelity Investments.
