The Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. has launched new websites for professional planners and for consumers.

Both sites are designed for easier navigation and add new features, according to an announcement from the CFP board.

CFP.net is adaptable to various platforms including desktops, tablets and smart phones and provides quick links to the most requested information, such as how to become a CFP professional and general financial planning advice.

For the consumer, CFP.net provides an expanded search tool for finding a CFP by compensation type or specialization.  For CFP professionals, it provides a more accessible search for continuing education programs.

The website specifically for consumers, LetsMakeaPlan.org, also has been redesigned to provide easier accessibility to information on how to create a financial plan and how to find a professional financial planner who meet’s the consumer’s needs.
