She noted mutual funds have generally side with management in opposition to disclosure.

For years, Vanguard has abstained from resolutions asking companies to disclose political spending.
Vanguard spokesman David Hoffman said the firm can’t predict what it will be doing on shareholder resolutions on electioneering and lobbying in the future.
“We will continue to monitor the issue,” said Hoffman.
