Long Island Iced Corp. shares rose six-fold after rebranding itself Long Blockchain Corp. The company says it’s shifting its primary corporate focus towards the exploration of and investment in opportunities that leverage the benefits of blockchain -- the technology that underpins bitcoin and other digital currencies.
Long Blockchain, which has also reserved the web domain name www.longblockchain.com, will still operate a ready-to-drink beverage subsidiary.
