Financial advisor Derek D’Alonzo has joined Alden Investment Group as a senior financial advisor, a company spokesman said in an e-mail.
Based out of Hoschton, Ga., D’Alonzo was formerly with Ameriprise Financial, where he managed $25 million in client assets, according to the spokesman.
He felt Alden, with two clearing agencies (Raymond James and Charles Schwab) offered him the brand recognition and longevity he was seeking for his clients, as well as a broader base of products from which they could choose.
Headquartered in Jenkintown, Pa., Alden Investment Group is an independent firm with a full-service broker-dealer and registered investment adviser.
